Palisades Park

The trails in Palisades are some of the most interesting and scenic in the Decorah trail system. They earn the intermediate rating because there is a fair amount of climbing, and the Dead Pet section is quite rocky. This is also a nice hiking trail, and a fun place to cross country ski. A nice trail to warm up on before tackling the longer trails in Van Peenen and Dunnings' Springs.
